An Act to establish the Judicial Branch.

This act will take effect upon the ratification of the Constitution.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Habbo White House in Congress assembled,

Part 1: Positions 

  1. [P(851) - The Judicial Branch shall be comprised of the following ranks:
    1. Chief Justice (4iC)
    2. Deputy Chief Justice (5iC)
    3. Senior Associate Justice (6iC)
      1. Held by two individuals
    4. Associate Justice (7iC)
      1. Held by five individuals
    5. Solicitor General (7iC)
      1. Held by two individuals
    6. District Judge (8iC)
      1. Held by seven individuals
    7. District Attorney (8iC)
      1. Held by seven individuals
    8. Attorney (9iC)
      1. Held by ten individuals]

  3. Specifics
    1. [P(604G) - Each rank shall be responsible for the completion of tasks and other duties assigned by the Chief Justice, or where required by law]
    2. [P7 - All ranks 7iC or higher in P1.1 shall be considered Judicial Leadership]
    3. [P(604H) - The Supreme Court shall be comprised of the Chief Justice, Deputy Chief Justice, Senior Associate Justices, and Associate Justices]

  4. Certification
    1. [P(604J) - All individuals shall be required to be certified before acting in a real court case]

      1. [F(801) - All individuals that served as Attorney General for at least one (1) month, as recorded by their EE:DB, will be considered permanently certified by the Department.]

  5. Oath
    1. [P(604L) - Any judge or justice shall take the following oath or affirmation before assuming their rank]
      1. "I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me in my rank under the Constitution and laws of the White House. So help me God."

Part 1: Positions 

  1. The following ranks shall make up the Judicial Branch;
    1. Chief Justice (4iC)
    2. Counsel to the Chief Justice (5iC)
    3. Senior Associate Justice (6iC)
    4. Associate Justice (7iC)
    5. District Attorney (7iC)
    6. District Judge (8iC)
    7. Court Clerk (8iC)
    8. Attorney (8iC)
    9. Paralegal (9iC)
       
  2. Each rank shall hold one person, except for;
    1. Senior Associate Justice - Maximum of 3
    2. Associate Justice - Maximum of 5
    3. Attorney - Maximum of 4
    4. District Judge - Maximum of 3
    5. Court Clerk - Maximum of 3
    6. Paralegal - Maximum of 11
       
  3. Specifics
    1. Each rank will be assigned duties by the Chief Justice, and by Acts of Law
    2. All ranks 7iC or higher in Part 1, 1 shall be considered Judicial Leadership
    3. Any rank with “Justice” in the name shall be considered the Supreme Court, except for the Counsel to the Chief Justice
       
  4. Certification
    1. Individuals in the following ranks need to be certified before acting in a real court case
      1. Attorney
    2. The Department of Justice are responsible for certifying attorneys
    3. The Supreme Court are responsible for certifying judges
       
  5. Oath
    1. Any Associate Justice, District Judge, or replacement Justice must take the following oath before assuming the duties delegated;
      1. "I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me in my rank under the Constitution and laws of the White House. So help me God."
         

Part 2: Powers to Amend

  1. The Chief Justice can amend Part 1, except for their own rank, via order
  2. All amendments made to this Act through primary legislation, must have the Chief Justice’s consent
